Britney Spears was recently on the cover of Ok! Magazine showing how she is getting her life back together and mending her relationship with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The article showed lots of pictures of the kids playing in the pool with their Mommy and Grandma, Lynne Spears.

Britney said she spends most of the time she gets with her kids either playing outside, swimming, reading, or watching a movie. She says they hardly ever watch television, and she never even watched her appearance on How I Met Your Mother.

Pregnant with twin girls Rebecca Romijn says she is going to name one of the girls Dolly after her favorite country music star, Dolly Parton.

“I have been a Dolly fan all of my life. She is a wonderful woman. I really connect with her music and I can’t think of a better role model for my children.”

Rebecca recently met the country singing legend at the ‘Backwoods Barbie’ show in Tennessee’s Dollywood theme park. She revealed her plan to Dolly who was thrilled and gave Rebecca her blessing,

“Dolly has this great, sweet personality but she is also so strong and wise. I got her blessing. She was honored I had chosen the name Dolly.”

Dolly then dedicated her song ‘Little Sparrow’ to Rebecca when she performed it later than evening.

Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale recently welcomed a baby boy and named him Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.

With an unusual named like Zuma Nesta Rock, there must be some meaning behind it.

Apparently Gwen and Gavin chose Zuma as the first name after their favorite Malibu beach, in which they love to bring their other son, Kingston to play.

Nesta, the middle name, was in fact Bob Marley’s real first name, although he traded it as his middle name. Gwen and Gavin’s first son Kingston was named after Marley’s Jamaican hometown so it seems the reggae legend is an important source of inspiration for the couple.

As for Rock, the reason isn’t entirely clear, but it may be derived from Rocksteady, a musical genre that was popular in Jamaica in the 60s, supplanting ska and eventually giving way to reggae - also the title of one of No Doubt’s albums.

Lesson: If you’re going to give your baby an unusual name they have to live with, make sure there is a meaning behind it!

There have been so many celebrity pregnancy announcements and baby bump rumors in the past few days I’ve decided to combine all the news into one mega post.

Charlie Sheen and his newly wed wife Brooke Mueller are pregnant with their first child, according to In Touch magazine. A source tells the magazine, “They are so happy and excited. They are in love, and this news makes things even better.” Brooke is 31 and Charlie is 42, the couple wed in May. Charlie was married to actress Denise Richards, and the two have been going through a very public and bitter divorce and custody battle.

Model Alessandra Ambrosio is now a mommy! She gave birth to a little girl and released the following statement, “To all of our family and friends, we are pleased to announce that our little princess Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born on Sunday Aug 24 at 7:32 p.m. She is 6.3 lbs. and absolutely perfect.” The father is boyfriend Jamie Mazur, the couple have been together since 2005.

My Name is Earl’s Jason Lee and wife gave birth to a little girl earlier this month. Jason and girlfriend Ceren Alkac have chosen not to release the name of the baby, is it a surprise? The couple were spotted in the past applying for a marriage license, but have yet to make it official. Jason has a 4 year old son, Pilot Inspektor, with ex-fiancée. I wonder if Jason and his girlfriend will choose a bizarre name too?

Spice Girl Mel C. is expecting her first baby. Melanie Chisholm announced on her website, “Some happy news! Well, I can announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy. As I am sure you’ll understand, we needed time to wait for results and tell our families. Thank you for all you kindness, good wishes and support (even if it was based on speculation!).” Rumors were starting to fly that Mel was preggers with a little baby spice after she revealed a bulging belly while performing in concert. Mel is 34, and the father is longtime boyfriend Thomas Starr. She is due Winter 2009.

Jenna Jameson has finally confirmed her pregnancy with beau Tito Ortiz. Jenna told Us Weekly, “Yes, I can confirm I’m pregnant. It’s still early, so I’m being cautious. I’m resting as much as possible. I’m so happy!” She adds,  “I’m just saying super healthy. I’ve moved down to the beach with Tito [Ortiz] — I love being by the beach.” Jenna was pregnant in 2004, but suffered a miscarriage after two months when she was diagnosed with a malignant melanom.

Eva Longoria continues to keep the baby bump rumors swirling, she recently stepped out for dinner with hubby Tony Parker and looked like she was sporty a little bump. Eva reportdedly has gained weight for her role are Gabby in this season’s Desperate Housewives, but it’s also a known fact she and Parker are trying to get pregnant. We hope she is finally pregnant!

Newly wedded couple Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi say that having a child one day may be in the cards for them.

The couple says they aren’t seriously considering having children at the moment, “We go back and forth, I don’t know if it’s our immediate future. It’s something we talk about every few months,” explains Portia.

“It’s something we would never take lightly and just say, ‘That would be fun.’ It’s a lot of work and we recognize that,” says Ellen. “In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it.”

And, Ellen adds, “If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina’s kids, we might.”

Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed a little boy on August 21st, named Zuma Nesta Rock - what a name! Gwen gave birth after checking into Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Zuma weighed in at 8.5 lbs.

This is Gwen and Gavin’s second son, the couple have a 2 year old son, Kingston.

Zuma Nesta Rock is definitely one of the most unusual names of the year, Nesta is a reference to the late Bob Marley.

Gwen and Gavin released the following statement today, “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.”

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have officially confirmed they are pregnant with their second child.

”Thank you. We’re so excited, obviously.”

Jennifer was coy at first, joking with Access Hollywood as the interviewer wished her well,

“Congratulations. Can I say that?” The interviewer asked. “For what?” Jennifer smiled. “For baby number two,” he responded. “Oh I’m not pregnant,” she giggled. “I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It’s just — what do they call it? A breakfast pouch? Bunch?”

Jennifer said that the speculation over her baby in recent weeks has made her laugh,

“It always makes me laugh when people say ‘Is she?’ ‘Isn’t she?’ It’s like eventually you will know, so just chill out for a minute.” Jen went on to say that she is well-prepared for this pregnancy thanks to her daughter, Violet, “Yeah, been through it. It’s all good, it’s great. I’m really excited.”

Jen is due sometime in early 2009. The couple currently have a 2 year old daughter together named Violet.

Matt Damon and wife Luciana welcomed a little girl, Gia Zavala on August 20th. The couple now how three daughters, Isabella, 2, and half-sister Alexia, 10.
